Questions candidates ask
Direct answers, no marketing. If your question is not here, message us and we will answer it personally.

Do I have to pay Armenian Workers to find a job?
No. Applying, initial screening and discussing vacancies are free for candidates. We are paid by employers and recruitment agencies. If anyone claiming to represent Armenian Workers asks you for money for a vacancy, a "reservation" or a visa guarantee, it is fraud: report it to us.
Do you guarantee a job or a visa?
No, and nobody can. The hiring decision is made by the employer or agency after an interview. Work-permit and visa decisions are made by the destination country's authorities. Our role is to offer verified vacancies, prepare you and explain the process honestly.
Do I need previous work experience?
It depends on the vacancy. Many roles in manufacturing, warehousing, agriculture and cleaning require no experience and training is given on site. Welding, driving, cooking and care roles usually require verifiable experience and sometimes a certificate. Every vacancy states its own requirements.
What documents might I need?
At the first step, nothing except your details and, if you have one, a CV. Later, for a specific vacancy, you usually need a valid passport, photographs, education or qualification documents, sometimes a criminal-record certificate and a medical certificate. The exact list depends on the country and employer; we give it to you in writing once you are selected.
How are salaries presented?
In every vacancy the salary is stated as a gross figure, per hour or per month, with the currency. Next to it we list expected deductions: taxes, social contributions and accommodation if deducted. Where a responsible calculation is possible we give an estimated net amount. We never present the gross figure as take-home pay.
Is accommodation provided?
Often, but not always, and not always free. Many employers provide shared accommodation deducted from pay. In every vacancy we state whether it is provided, what it costs, how many people share a room and what is included. If the accommodation terms are unknown, we do not publish the vacancy.
Who pays for travel?
It differs by employer. Some pay the ticket or reimburse it after a set period of work, others do not. Each vacancy states this separately. Travel, visa fees and medical insurance are your own costs, not recruitment fees, and we keep them clearly separated.
How long might the process take?
The honest answer: months, not days. The interview and offer can be quick, but work-permit and visa decisions depend on government authorities and can take several months. Any promise that you will "leave within a week" is suspicious. In each vacancy we state the expected timeline based on the employer's experience.
How can I recognise a fake job offer?
The main signs: you are asked to pay for the job or a visa guarantee, a job is promised as guaranteed without an interview, money is requested to a personal account, you are told to travel on a tourist visa, the employer's name or written terms are withheld, or you are rushed. A legitimate offer always has an employer, a contract and time to think.
What happens after I submit my profile?
Your profile enters our candidate database. When a verified vacancy matches your experience and preferences we contact you for an initial conversation. We do not contact you for every vacancy and cannot reply to everyone immediately. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent for a specific vacancy.
How is my personal information used?
Only for recruitment: to assess your suitability and contact you about vacancies. We pass your data to a verified employer or agency only after you agree to a specific vacancy. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
How can I confirm a vacancy is still active?
Every vacancy has a status (open, closed, filled) and a last-verified date. A closed vacancy stays on the site but is clearly labelled closed. If in doubt, message us with the vacancy link and we will confirm. Check any "our" vacancy circulating on social media only through this website.
Still have a question?
Write to us in Armenian, Russian or English. We answer every question, including the difficult ones.
