The shortage of truck drivers in Europe is ongoing, and Polish transport companies are among the largest international haulage operators. For Armenian drivers looking for driving work in Europe this is a real opportunity, but it is also the sector with the most document requirements.
Driving a truck in the EU requires a licence of the right category that the country recognises or exchanges, a Driver CPC (Code 95), a tachograph driver card and, for drivers from outside the EU, a driver attestation. Some of these documents can only be obtained after arrival, and the process can take months.

Can I drive a truck in Poland with an Armenian licence?
Not immediately for professional work. Professional driving usually requires exchanging the Armenian licence for a Polish one, a Driver CPC (Code 95) and a driver card, all arranged in Poland. The rules are set by Polish authorities and can change, so in each vacancy the employer must explain the process, timing and costs in writing.
What does a driver's pay in Europe consist of?
Usually a base salary, on which taxes and social contributions are calculated, plus daily allowances or other payments for international routes. This structure affects your net income, insurance and future pension. Ask the employer to show the full calculation in writing, not just an "up to X euros" figure.
